On Sunday morning, Prof. Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President checked the book fair in the university and followed applying all the precautionary and preventives measures when entering the gate of the university and the gates of self -sterilization, wearing the medical masks, keeping the social distances, and works of purifying and spraying that happen periodically in the university buildings as keenness on the safety of students and university employees and visitors of the university specially within the light of holding the book fair at the Faculty of Agriculture at the campus in Sahari.
Dr. Ahmed Ghallab added on the margins of opening the events of the book fair at Aswan University that has been opened by Dr. Enas Abdul Dayem-Minister of Culture which its events will be continued until on the current December31in the attendance of the Major General/Ashraf Attia-Aswan Governor, and Prof. Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President; the Minister of Culture honored the pioneers of the university on the top Dr. Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President as an appreciation for his prominent role in developing the new university buildings as sporting playgrounds, the stadium of the university , and educational facilities that serve the Educational System in Aswan, and the extent of efforts and the fruitful cooperation in setting the book fair in the university for this year within the light of applying all the precautionary and preventive measures to confront the emerging corona virus and stressing on applying them.
As well as the Minister of Culture honored Dr. Ayman Osman -Vice University President for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs as an appreciation for his role in the sector of postgraduate studies and scientific research in the university; Dr.Ayman Osman-Vice University President indicated to the culture and knowledge are considered the most important elements of the Peoples’ progress, reading, and the source of the thinking and cultural inspiration; the book is a best friend and the book fair includes more than 20 publishing houses and includes books for all age groups which reach to 3 thousand books and stories are available for students and visitors from outside.
