In compliance with Republican Decree No. (809) In the year 1975, the Faculty of Arts was created in Aswan. The faculty’s studies began in the academic year 2000/2001.
The faculty awards a Bachelor of Arts degree in the departments’ majors after four years of study.
The faculty uses a directed enrollment and affiliation system in addition to a general affiliation system, and the language of instruction is Arabic, with the exception of departments that need teaching specialization courses like English and French.
