Aswan University participates in a workshop within the project of preparing teachers of refugees and immigrants 6th of October University

Prof. Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President stated that on Sunday morning, 7 March, 2021 Aswan University participated in a workshop held at the 6th October University in Cairo, in the attendance of Dr. Nadie Kamal Aziz Gerges, Director of the Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation at Aswan University and Director of the Project of Preparing Refugee and Migrant Teachers at Aswan University and Dr. Yasmine Mr. Kamel is a member of the project at the university.

Prof. Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President added that the ”Project of Preparing Refugee and Immigrants Teachers” is considered one of the most important international villages that work on preparing teachers who deal with the sons of refugees and immigrants, and considered the first worldwide in terms of the idea and subject and the humanity, while it will train and learn  teachers who deal with the sons of refugees and immigrants, and clarify the way of applying the correct and scientific methods to learn them, and free them from what they suffer from hard psychological circumstances that they and their families passed through it, and put the curriculum and content that is based by specialized academic staff from 8 universities (Egyptian, British, Greek and Cypriot universities, including Aswan University).

Prof. Ahmed Ghallab wishing the spreading of this experiment afterwards in the universities of the world for the importance of this project in raising the next generations nd not leaving them easy prey and vulnerable to deviation, extremism, and hunting by stalkers.

Dr. Nadi Kamal Aziz Gerges, Director of the Quality and Assurance Center at Aswan University and a member of the project explained that the workshop aims to review the diploma courses of preparing refugee and immigrant teachers through the results of experimenting of the diploma courses at the Faculties of Education in the mentioned participating universities.

Aswan University and the rest of the universities presented the lessons learned from this experiment, as well as equipping the distinguished computer lab at the Faculty of Education includes: computers, an integrated video conference unit, and other devices. As well as the role of each university in advertising and informing about this project in different ways. This is in preparation for the recognition and approval of that diploma from the educational studies sector of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities, in preparation for applying it a group of Syrian, Egyptian and other teachers.
