Today, on Monday corresponding to Aug 30, 2021 No.110 heading by Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman-Acting -Work of Aswan University President in the attendance of Major General/Ashraf Attia-Governor of Aswan and deans of the faculties and advisors of the university president.
”Othman” inaugurated the session by welcoming the Major General ”Attia” Governor of Aswan and the attendees; Aswan University Council presented the university shield to the Major General/Ashraf Attia-Governor of Aswan as appreciation to the role of the governorate regarding supporting the university and the governorate’s donation with (13) incubations to Aswan University Hospital.
Dr. Othman confirmed that the university and governorate are the two sides of the same coin and there are integration and harmony in all scientific, research, community, and developmental that benefit the Aswan community.
”Othman” added that the work is in progress to make all preparations to receive the next academic year from maintenance works in the university hostels and university facilities in the various headquarters of the university( Sahari- New Aswan City) beginning from Oct 9, 2021.
As well as the committees of taking the emerging coronavirus vaccination have been prepared for 37 thousand including students and academic staff of the university in the light of facing the 4th wave of coronavirus. On the sidelines of the council, the president of the university honored the students’ union in appreciation of their role and their interaction in student activities and the role they played in the success of the academic year 2021/2020, and the shield was received by Student / Islam Youssef – President of the Union.
