Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman-Acting of Aswan University President stated that Aswan University has obtained several scientific and international classifications, which made it the focus of the world’s attention. Within this framework, Aswan University achieved the 1st position at the level of the Egyptian Universities ranking in the ”Emerging Economies University Rankings 2022 British Times”, it also obtained the 115th position at the level of the international universities and this among a list included more than 900 universities worldwide during October.
Dr. Ayman Othman-Aswan University President added that for the 2nd year in a row Aswan University maintained its presence among the best universities for ” Arabic Universities QS Classification” of Aswan University in the category (151-180), October 2021, more information on the following link
The university also achieved the 1st position at the level of the Egyptian Universities in the specialization of ” Computer Science”, and ranked the position 201-250 worldwide according to the latest version of the British Times Classification for the scientific specializations October 2021/ 2022:
On the other hand, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Director of the International Classification Unit at the university, stated that Aswan University topped the Egyptian universities in engineering for the third year in a row, as it ranked first in Egypt and among the top 400 universities worldwide during October 2021, as announced earlier. Times classification in the field of physics, where Aswan University came in fourth place locally, and among the best 600 universities in the world.
