Aswan University’s preparations for the first African universities youth week next October

Aswan University continues its preparations for organizing the first African universities youth week which will be held with the participation of 21 African countries and more than 20 Egyptian universities during the period from 19th to 25th of next October in the framework of announcing Aswan the capital of African Youth for this year by president: Abdelfattah Alsisi.

Prof: Ahmed Ghalab_Aswan university president stated that the African university youth week aims at enhance and strengthen the partnership and cooperation between the Egyptian and African universities and promoting the cultural dialogue among the black continent’s students, and establish a strong and united data for youth leadership in Africa, in addition to cross-cultural exchange of experiences

He added that many activities (sports- arts-cultural-scientific- technological) will be involved in this week in order to achieve integration between the higher education institutions in Africa and exchange and disseminate the unified coexistence.

Prof:Ayman Osman-the university’s vice president for graduate studies and researches added that many specialized committees will be formed for the success of all the events and activities of the week such as the committees of : ceremonies, reception, the opening, media and shows, awards, the scientific,technological,cultural,social,athletic and activity.

From his side,prof:Abdelrahman Abdelbasset-vice- chairman of the  higher committee and general coordinator of the week,said that the participating  African countries are( Tanzania-Nigeria-Togo-Senegal-Benin-Mali- Cote d’Ivoire-Uganda- Mozambique-Cameron- Gabonesee- Niger-Zambia-Sudan-Somalia-Angola-Tchad)

Wherby every delegation includes about 10 to 15 students. He pointed at the participating  Egyptian universities are:AlAzhar-Alexandria-Sohag-Ain Shams-Assiut-Tanta-Helwan-Menoufia-Suez Canal-Kafrelsheikh-Alnahda-Sinia-Port Said-Arab academy of sciences,technology and maritime transport).
