In a joyful ceremony, the Faculty of Arts- Aswan University celebrated the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ghallab, as the best figure out of a hundred personalities in the Arab world. The Students’ Union of the College of Arts presented the most important achievements of Dr. Ahmed Ghallab from the time of his assumption of the position until now. For the sake of always advancing Aswan University, Dr. Shukri Al-Qantiri, Dean of the Faculty, gave a special speech in which he emphasized the role that the university president had played in the development in the various sectors of the university and that Aswan University witnessed by this man a reclassification and a place among the Egyptian universities, as Ghalab mentioned The stages of development witnessed by the university, especially in attracting foreign students to Aswan University, and studying at the Institute of African Research and Studies and the countries of the Nile Basin, in which the study coincided with the “Republican” decision to make Aswan Governorate the capital of culture, economy and arts for the brown continent and this was in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ayman Othman, Vice President The University for Postgraduate Studies and Research and Prof. Dr. Shukry Al-Qantiri, Dean of the College and Prof. Dr. Ali Abbas Dandarawi – Coordinator of the Children’s University and Professor Dr. Abdel Aziz Tantawy, Dean of the Institute of African Studies, Prof. Dr. Ihsan Abdel Quddous, Dean of the College of Al-Alsun, and a group of faculty members, workers, students, and a group of media professionals.
