Within the framework of the political leadership’s interest in sporting activities, and in implementation of the presidential initiative (Sport is National Security), the Faculty of Physical Education in Aswan organizes the International Forum for Sport Tourism, Prospects and Aspirations (Aswan is better) during the period from 18-20 March 2021, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi – Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Khaled Al-Anani – Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Major General / Ashraf Attia – Governor of Aswan, and Prof. Ahmed Ghallab – President of the University and President of the Forum.
In this regard, the Sports Federation of Universities and Aswan University signed a cooperation agreement between the administration of the forum and the International Academy of Sports Science and Arts of the Federation with the aim of holding training courses on the sidelines of the forum for faculty members and students of Aswan University. The signing of the agreement was witnessed by Dr. Sobhi Hassanein – Vice President of the Sports Federation of Universities, Dr. Hisham Muhammad Al Jyoushi – Secretary-General of the Federation, Ahmed Shwbyr– Member of the Board of Directors of the Federation, and Prof. Adel Muhammad Abdel Moneim Makki – Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education in Aswan and Secretary-General of the Forum.
