Today, on Wednesday, Aswan University Council No. (102 ) was convened heading by Prof.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President and in the presence of the Major General. Ashraf Attia-Aswan Governor, Dr.Ayman Osman-Vice Unversity President for Postgraduatestudies&Research, Dr.Majdi Mohamed Ali-Vice University President for Community Service &Environmental Development, deans of the faculties and advisors of the university president.
Today, Aswan University Council discussed the preparations for conducting the first-semester exams where the events of the council included the discussion of Aswan University plan regarding the preparations of the first-semester exams from providing well ventilated halls for the first semester exams, taking into consideration social -distances for one and a half meter among each student, with wearing medical masks at the various faculties with applying all the precautionary measures within the light of confronting the emerging coronavirus as a keenness of the safety of students, academic staff and their associates, and all workers of Aswan University, and working on submitting all the capabilities of the university to facilitate the works of exams, and working on the success the first-semester exams within the light of the exceptional circumstances which the country passes with it; as well as the council approved on employing a number of academic staff and their associates in the positions of lecturers and assistants professor and granting scientific degrees.
On the margin of convening the council, student Islam Youssef-Head of Students Union presented the shield of the union to Dr.Ahmed Ghallab-Aswan University President as an appreciation for his fruitful efforts for promoting with the university and his support to students’ activities during the previous period within the light of confronting the emerging coronavirus.
