Aswan University embraces spectra and cultures of Aswan society

Evening today, on Monday, Prof.Ahmed Ghallab Mohamed-Aswan University President witnessed the events of the conclusion of the initiative ”Students without Discrimination” that is launched by Aswan University in cooperation with Future Development Association and Angelic Capotic Authority under the title” Cultures Conversation Forum”in the attendance of Dr. Ayman Othman, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Magdi Muhammad Ali, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Samir Kamel, President of the Future Association for Development, Wahba Yusri, representative of the Coptic Evangelical Authority, Sheikh Dr. Youssef Mustafa, Director of Advocacy in the Aswan Endowment Directorate, and Priest Anthony Zekry and Priest Abd al-Masih Shukri Orthodox Church and deans of some participated faculties in the initiative that its events start with National Anthem.

Prof.Ahmed Ghallab inspects the art gallery for paintings then shows a recorded movie on the achievements of Aswan University for 2020 about the activities of the initiative and its targets as well as Prof.Ahmed Ghallab through his word emphasized Aswan University represents the locomotive of development and the castle of freedoms, and the lighthouse of knowledge and culture and enlightenment so we have to launch this initiative for eliminating the forms of discrimination especially in the ways of the university life and the surrounded community.

Prof. Ahmed Ghallab added the initiative aims to unity and spreading awareness of the importance of solidarity and equality among all to achieve the homeland’s progress and maintain the safety of our sons’ brains from dispersion and difference and not to be driven to the destructive thoughts to create a generation that is integrated intellectually culturally, and socially to drive the shape of the homeland and achieve our aspirations from the comprehensive development through the vision of Egypt 2030 under the leadership of President Abdul Fattah Al Sisi-President of the Republic.

Dr. Magdi Muhammad Ali- Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, indicated that this initiative will be implemented in Aswan University to combat intolerance and distinction and its forms over the ages and to bring art, sports, and student activities to the ideal image of society.
Samir Kamel -Association President explained that this initiative came within the framework of the cooperation with Aswan University, which was a dream and became a title for Aswan Governorate, as Aswan University achieved international scientific centers led by Dr. Ahmed Ghallab, President of the University, who provided full support for hosting the initiative and launching all its activities at the university.
Heba Yousry- Representative of the Evangelical Commission, who emphasized the values ​​of society and the establishing concept of citizenship among all; at the conclusion of the activities, honor shields have been exchanged between Aswan University and the participating institutions.
