Aswan University Acting President Prof. Ayman Othman extends sincere thanks, appreciation, and gratitude to the wise political leadership of the President of the Republic His Excellency President Abd Al Fattah Al Sisi and the Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouli as well as the minister of higher education and scientific research Dr. Khaled Abd Al Ghaffar for restoring precious confidence to continue serving as Aswan university acting president on 6th Sep. 2021. Prof. Ayman Othman also extends appreciation and gratitude to the deans, the vice deans, the academic staff, their assistants, the employees, and the students who bore the responsibility in promoting Aswan university’s position to be among the universal deep-rooted ones.
It should be noted that presidential decree no. 1955 of 2017 was issued to appoint Prof. Ayman Mahmoud Othman Abu Zeid as Aswan university’s vice president of graduate studies and research for 4 years. Prof. Othman was the dean of the faculty of engineering. He got a doctorate degree from the USA in 1995 in the airways and airport engineering discipline. He was the advisor of the ministry of transport in the KSA in the field of maintenance of roads and bridges. Prof. Othman held many posts in Aswan university; first the chairman of the civil engineering department in the faculty of engineering, then he was the vice-dean of graduate studies, next he served as the dean of the faculty for 2 consecutive periods from 2011 to 2017 after that Prof. Othman was appointed as Aswan university vice president of graduate studies and research and finally as Aswan university acting president.
