In the morning today, the candidacy door for the election of the student union for the academic year 2021/2022 was opened, the supervision committee of the election process at the faculty was formed, and working on following up the elections, as well as taking into consideration applying the transparency and integrity.
All precautionary measures were taken to face coronavirus in terms of observing the social distance and wearing masks to ensure the safety of all. It was decided to announce statements on Sunday corresponding to 21/11/2021 then receive appeals on Monday corresponding 22/11/2021and check them on Tuesday corresponding to 23/11/2021 and announce the final statement on Wednesday 24/11/2021, the election propaganda will begin on Thursday corresponding to 25/11/2021.
The elections of the first round at faculties, checking and announcing results will be on Sunday, November 28, the run-off elections on Monday, November 29, the elections of secretariats of the committees and their assistants will be held at the faculties level on November 30, the elections of the union’s head and his vice at the faculties level will be held on Wednesday, December 1, the election process will be ended on Monday, December 1, with electing the secretaries of the committees and their assistants and the head of the union and his vice at the university level according to the suggested schedule for students’ union.
