University Center for Career Development announces the first virtual employment platform for the Egyptian Universities for the year 2021

Prof. Ahmad Ghallab – President of Aswan University said that The Professional Development Center of Aswan University announced the first virtual employment platform for the year 2021 for the Egyptian universities under the patronage of the minister of higher education and scientific research. 

Prof. Ahmad Ghallab – president of Aswan University- added that this virtual employment platform will provide job and training opportunities over the year, also will allow numerous opportunities  for students to contact in any time with the companies and owners of jobs, and apply their CV to make interviews on, as well as the platform will lunch its first events under the title of” The Virtual Platform for the Employment UCCD March Career Expo” on Monday,22. March.2021. This is the second forum of its kind, while the first virtual platform held in September 2020 achieved great success in the presence of elite business owners and about 4000 students and graduates from ten Egyptian universities of  nine governorates from Aswan to Alexandria.  

Prof. Ahmad Ghallab referred to this initiative that comes under the umbrella of the University Centers for Professional Development project, which has reached so far 15 centers in ten government universities which Established in cooperation with USAID and technical support from the American University in Cairo to work on bridging the gap between university education and the needs of the labor market and industry by providing vocational guidance and free training  to various students and graduates. 

Prof. Ahmad Ghallab emphasized the importance of launching the permanent employment platform as part of our constant endeavor to serve students and graduates. This platform is a dynamic three-dimensional platform which supports business owners to free from the obstacles of traditional recruitment processes, and enables business owners and job seekers to communicate virtually which represents the feeling of direct and realistic dealing. This platform provides communicating opportunities and reaching to the best distinguished young Egyptian cadres;  where business owners can meet university students and graduates by virtual environment such as (chat rooms) ( teleconferencing) ( webcasts)  (virtual seminars) and (webinars), or by e-mail to exchange information about available jobs.
